Scarab对小垃圾的清扫原理就像大街上看到扫地车差不多，都是通过后面的两个清扫轮把较小的垃圾扫到车内的收集箱内。垃圾清扫机器人Scarab前面的两个触手是可以左右前后转动的，当遇到体积比较大的垃圾会使用触手夹起来，然后扔到背部收集箱内。收集箱的垃圾装满后，Scarab会自行倒到垃圾桶内，但这需要给Scarab定义垃圾桶的位置它才认得路的。当Scarab工作一段时间后，在电量不足时，它会自动跑到指定位置充电，只要屁股轻轻的靠到专用的充电插座上就OK了。所以如果摆在家里基本上是不用考虑Scarab的吃喝拉撒，只要别让它跑丢了就行了。

随着科技的发展，将来会有更多的自动化产品入侵小家庭，以后人人回家都可以不用做家务当爷们了，但不知道这是好事还是坏事~~~

Martin Jetpack是Martin公司推出了一款很气派的单人喷射飞行器装置，设计师是Glenn Martin。Martin Jetpack的动力来源是两个高速旋转的涡轮，通过涡轮喷出高速气体来驱动装套装置飞行，跟目前常规打大型飞机一样的驱动原理。从图片看来喷射飞行器Martin Jetpack不算是一个小玩儿，两个涡轮放在一起就像背着两个大水桶一样，再加上动力和控制系统，重量不会很清。所以整套的Martin Jetpack设计了独立了支撑架，人只需要靠上去，绑好安全带就完成了整套飞行器的穿戴。

Martin Jetpack在目前已经完成了超过5000次的试飞，但没有正式发售，感兴趣的小盆友可以在eBey上竞投，最终的赢家可以成为一名Martin Jetpack的测试飞行员，会被指派完成特定的飞行任务。竞投者的条件是体重低于90公斤，年龄大于18岁且拿了驾照。这个活动可能不太适合国人，除非你是那绿卡又不差钱。加入有那么一天可以买一套在自家小院飞来飞去，一定会被不明真相的群众围观。。

目前Dustbot机器人的主要工作是挨家挨户的上门收集垃圾，你甚至是可以通过手机短信来召唤它到你家门口，前提是你家地址在Dustbot的数据库内。Dustbot的人机对话主要是通过一个触摸屏，可以通过屏幕操作把垃圾放在Dustbot的肚子里面，但需要输入垃圾的分类，因为不同类型的垃圾Dustbot会做不同的处理。

这个大狗机器人是美国波士顿动力工程[Boston Dynamics]研究的一个产品，主要是用于崎岖山路的搬运工作，是一个比较纯种的军事或工程机器人。这条大狗机器人在设计时没有采用军事机器人一贯喜欢的轮式或者是履带式结构，而直接模仿动物四肢设计四条腿，这点实在是高啊！在结构上讲，这四条强而有力的腿估计也是这个机器人设计上的核心和重点，因为上山下水全部都要靠这四条腿，只要是小于35度的角度，无论是什么地形都难不了这四条腿的大狗。所以那四条腿直接就是液压驱动，再带有减震系统，大家认真看看视频就知道那可不是简单的狗腿啊！

有好的结构也要配上好的控制系统，常规的路线规划和定位系统这都是必须的。这个大狗身上携带的感应器还不少，可以承受一定的冲击力，视频上看到测试人员用 力踹它一脚都不会倒下，完了会自动调整回原来的运动姿态，就算是倒下了也会自动坚强的爬起来。这是我最喜欢这个机器人的地方。如果给他穿上狗的衣服，远看 还真的难分出来是不是披着狗皮的机器人呢！！

这条大狗大约0.7米高1米长，体重大概是75公斤，但它最高负重可以达到150公斤。由于这家伙是烧汽油的，工作的时候必然会有一定温度，所以如果你不怕烫屁股的话可以买一个回来骑，爬山的时候就不用那么辛苦。

“飞车”这个词在广东的意思是指“开快车”，但今天这辆由美国Terrafugia公司研制的这款名为Transition® Roadable Aircraft的两用汽车可以带你傲游天空。Transition®带有两个可以折叠的机翼，在地上跑就把机翼收起来，虽然是加上两个不协调的机翼，但Transition®作为汽车时看起来还是蛮酷的。需要飞行的时候再慢慢打开，有点像“的士速递2”里面的士变飞机飞跃机场的那个场景。

Transition® 已经首次试飞成功，驾驶者不需要再进行特别的飞机驾驶训练，开启这个飞车就像开普通的汽车。Transition®里面安装有精确的GPS系统，计算机控制系统及卫星控制技术等设备，这些设备都可以帮助驾驶者更好的驾驶这款Transition®。

Transition®飞行速度约为110英里/小时，航程可以达到400英里，这可能是属于中短途的飞行。如果真开着车到大街上框，可能要比开劳斯莱斯还要拉风。到2011年Transition®就开始量产，售价约为139000英镑，也就是160多万人民币跟买个宝马7系列差不多价格，奋斗一下绝对会买得起的！

但有了这个玩儿后不得不考虑一个交通管制的问题，国内可能不允许这些奇形怪状的物体随意在上空中飞行，可能买回来国内也只是一个昂贵的玩具！想看更多的图片请到官方网站的Transition®图片库里面慢慢欣赏！

机器人模特HRP-4

美女HRP-4将在东京5天的时装展里面进行测试，她将会和其他的模特一样穿上设计师的时装在舞台上按照指定的程序走猫步。我偶尔在电视上看到时装秀上，那些模特几乎都是按照统一的规律来走Cat Walk的。如果HRP-4测试成功，不知道会不会搞到日本的时装模特失业呢。。

再多想象一点，如果日本把充气娃娃的技术和美女机器人HRP-4相结合，不知道会发生什么事情了。。大家尽情的YY一下吧！
